The Difference Between a Good Friend And a Best Friend

The Difference Between a Good Friend And a Best Friend

A good friend knows all your best stories, a best friend has lived them with you. See the difference?

A best friend is someone that we should all hold on to, and cherish for as long as we possibly can. There are some people in our lives that may know us, and there are some people that are in your life that just "get" you.

A real friend is someone that will be there for you, and expect nothing in return but your love and loyalty when they are at their lowest points. A friend will be there to comfort you, laugh with you, let you lean on them when you are feeling weak, and most importantly, they will always be there to help pick you up when you fall. A real friend is honest, truthful, respectful, and in sync with who you are as a person, instead of who they want you to be, or expect for you to be.

Real best friends know that you aren't perfect and dont ask you to be, all a real friend will ask you for is to be a real friend back when they need one.

Your Truest Friends Are The Ones Who Will Always Be There For You

Friendship isn't about whom you have known the longest it's about who came, and never left your side.

Your truest friends are the ones who will always be there for you, no matter what happens, and who will never leave your side. A real friend knows you at your deepest levels and whether they agree with you or not, they will commit to always being there for you when you are truly down, even when it is least convenient for them to do so.

True Friends Can Grow Separately Without Growing Apart

The most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart.

Everyone needs room to grow, and if we stay the same our whole lives then in fact there is something wrong. In growing up, we have to grow separately so that we can grow into our full spiritual bodies. Finding yourself is necessary for sustaining happiness in your life, and any true friend with good intentions will know that.

Friends Pick Us Up When We Fall Down

Friends pick us up when we fall down, and if they can't pick us up, they lie down and listen for a while.

A great friend is a friend that will be there for you when you need for them to be. Before you can really know what a true friend should be to you, you have to be willing to learn about yourself. What standards do you have for your own life, what is acceptable in your eyes, and what do you expect that others do in relation to certain situations that may pertain to you. You also have to realize that not everyone will believe in the same guidelines for their lives that you may, and at some point in your life, you will have to compromise to make sure that you may maintain a relationship.

Spend Life With Who Makes You Happy

Spend life with who makes you happy, not who you have to impress.

When we do things over and over again even though we know for a fact that they don't work, chances are you will never achieve the things in life that you want to, and this applies to every aspect of our lives, including our relationships.

Real Friends Are Always Going To Be There

Real friends are always going to be there by your side, even at times when you tell them to leave.

If you already have a real friend in your life, then you know that through thick, and through thin, they will always be there for you. Not to judge you, or to tell you that they tried to warn you before, not to bring you down, or kick you while your down, but instead to help pick you up when you fall, or to sit with you and help talk you into getting back up.
